Situated in a traditional 18th century thatched cottage in the heart of Glencoe village, we are an accredited museum with a wide range of objects, telling the story of the Lochaber area and its people.

Join our Learning and Engagement Officer for a guided walk around Glencoe village. Starting and ending at Glencoe Folk Museum, we will walk a circuit and stop at sites including the Massacre Monument, Henderson Stone, Glencoe Mountain Rescue base and Loch Leven. Two guided walks each day:• 11:30am – 12:30pm• 1:30pm – 2:30pm. No booking required.

Walk into the Past - Voices from Dava Moor

Walk organised by Grantown Museum. Leaves from the Grantown Museum carpark at 11:30am. Tickets £10

Join artist and historian, Dr Charles Fletcher and Curator, Dan Cottam on a walk up into the past of the abandoned crofts on Dava Moor.  A walk on the beautiful and terrible moor that set the scene for Maurice Walsh's novel 'A Key above the Door'  celebrating the novel's 100 anniversary for Scotland's Year of stories.  The stories of the people who lived on the moor and the landscape itself are told as we journey to find the scene of the crime where Walsh begins his tale.
